Delete your account
How to ask FSP4ED to delete your FSP4ED Field app account and personal information, and what we must keep by law.
1. How to request deletion
Send a request from the email address or phone number registered on your account to members@fsp4ed.com, with the subject "Delete my account". Include your full name and national ID number so we can find your record.
You can also call +263 77 978 2011 during office hours. A staff member will confirm your identity before anything is changed.
2. What is deleted
Your FSP4ED Field sign-in is deleted: your email address, phone number and password are removed from the sign-in account, the account is disabled, and you are signed out of every device.
Copies of documents the app stored on your phone are removed from that phone.
3. What we must keep
Membership, contribution, payment, commission and claims records are kept for the period required by insurance, financial and audit law, even after an account is deleted. Those records keep the details needed to identify the policy and the payments, such as your name, national ID number and phone number on the membership record.
If you still have an active policy, deleting your account closes your access to the app but does not cancel your cover. Speak to your agent or the national office about cancelling a policy.
4. How long it takes
We aim to complete a deletion request within 30 days of verifying your identity. If we need more time, or some records must be kept, we will tell you in writing what remains and why.
5. Questions
For questions about a deletion request, contact members@fsp4ed.com. See also our privacy policy for what information we collect and why.
